 Finally snack time - Issac made the snack today and all the rest seemed to love his concoction of "gorp". Even our 3 from Ghana....Who happen to have been home now for 2 weeks today. It has been a great 2 weeks with them.

Splish Splash...we have sun and then thunderstorms....

The past two evenings we have had some big thundertorms roll thru. We almost both times got caught swimming. Some of the older kids went on a bike ride yesterday and got caught in one. The nite before last there was a huge thunderstorm...woke many of us up... including Isaiah. Joseph slept with him for an hour and he was just fine.

Big White Float Fun

We bought this float a few yrs ago on sale. It was a more expensive pool toy than we would normally consider but it was on sale at Sams Club for a good price. We only bring it out ever so often instead of keeping it out all the time for the kids to play with...but when we do they love it.

 Sadie and Emma were spayed last week and had to be leashed walked for the past 5 days...so they joined us out front for the fireworks.

Last nite our friends/ family the Livermores and their daughter and family came over for some fun. Dick made homemade ice cream and Helen made brownies...Then we played outside till dark and set off some fireworks and sparklers and then watched from our front yard the fireworks at Antietam Battlefield. So glad that we can have fun right in our own yard.

Paul has sure enjoyed our little one, Annabel ( Lila Joy) . Before today she was not feeling comfortable to swim in the pool to much ...but Daddy got her to even jump to him. She is a little firecracker but she can melt your heart too. She is such a clown and bosey...she will try to keep all the others in line at the dinner table or anywhere else she wants to. She tries her best to make us all laugh but at the same time she loves to cuddle and be held. It has been very different having a 2 yr old around....lots of energy but oh so sweet. Stella ( Selah Elizabeth) has been warming up to Daddy as well. She is more quiet but we are seeing lots of her spirit and joy come thru her personality. She is a fish...and would swim all day long. She loves to be chased by Daddy in the pool. Sometimes it is hard to believe that we have been blessed once again with these precious ones....

We started our 4th of July celebration tonite

I decorated the tables and house a little bit for the 4th of July and the new kids started to sing, " Happy Birthday". We told them it was our country's birthday and they just kept on singing. We had some sparklers left over from New Years and they all loved lighting them. We have some fun activities to do all wknd...and some grilling out. More fireworks tomorrow nite too.
