A small window into our time in Ghana....

The flowers at the Airside Hotel are always beautiful

They loved the mini iPads but often got in trouble using them : )

Swimming is the best bonding experience we have had with our kids.

They use bamboo poles when building structures.

The ocean is beautiful everywhere.

My kids know I love hotdogs... just showing them a Ghana hot dog, watermelon and papaya on the side.

The ever present sewer system...only this one had a partial covering...usually they don't.

Giving our birth moms the picture albums...my kids were loved and I love these mommas for the gift they have given to us. Our children are blessed to have both who love them .

Taking Shadrach to the social welfare directors office. As you can see his brain and skull is greatly affected by his condition.

Sweet , sweet smiles from my sweethearts.

We are home but they are not yet...soon we pray

Papaye and Emmanuel always smiling- brightening our days.

We met sweet Shadrach and it was very apparent how much difficulty he is having to breath. I pray he can come home soon. Eating is getting difficult for him an he often chokes during the times he eats and drinks. He needs a miracle .

They both are wonderful with children- and that is a good thing since they have lots of siblings.

Everywhere we travel there is a dove- my encouragement that the Holy Spirit is always with me.  We had many miracles the first week - getting the clearance letter, and the kids passports. We thought our luggage was all stolen , we thought when we changed hotels after a phone call to the new one that we did not have a room. I got information that my favorite aunt was ill probably not going to make it ,  and the amount of money needed was getting higher and higher. We had every desire met but the one we needed the most- At our exit interview we were put into administrative review. This means they just check things out and for some families it is done in a few weeks but for some it has been months.  When they are done they will contact us and hopefully give us a print date for the kid's visas which will allow us to go back and get them. Actually Paul will and we are so praying it will be in a few weeks. Will you please pray for this to happen . Also Shadrach needs prayers for his health- specifically his breathing. We need his process to move quickly so we can bring him home for his surgery. Hoping to share soon that the kids will be home.

Ghana update

We arrived late last nite, tired but anxious to get to work. FaceTime with the kids back home is a joy we love.... But lots went on just in 24 hrs since we left. We could use your prayers to cover the family at home:

A nasty stomach bug is  never fun but multiple that by 32 people - not all have had it yet and you know how that goes , " Will I be next."

Also Mya 's surgical site looks infected again ( from the pics they sent) call to doctor for stronger meds..

Scheduling change at work for Keith

Kids acting up just cuz that is how they process momma and daddy being gone

Lots of chores not done...

Unspoken request

Funny though things are better this am when MK ftimed me and she showed me signs the kids made that are posted all over-  wash your hands at least 15 seconds and use hand sanitizer!

Then by each bed are buckets for when the next one gets sick .

I love my kids .... They are so much like me : )

Please pray for my sweethearts at home, pray for Paul and I in Ghana- May we always shine for you Jesus and share about you - give us many devine moments and lots of opportunities to share our faith and your love. Last nite was one moment already and we had not even been in Ghana for an hour - thank you Jesus a - pray for a man named Abraham .

I have been busy packing and have had so little time to blog : )

You might be wondering where I have been. It has been crazy here as we get ready to travel to Ghana. These are our 2 precious children, Papaye and Emmanuel are waiting for us and, I can't wait to see them again. We will be gone for at least 2 weeks as we complete their adoption process and we ask for prayers for us to be able to bring them home . We are also meeting our sweet Shadrach. We leave this Friday. I am very excited and would covet your prayers for our family.
