It was that time again- Jan. 2 and 5th

Mya wants a horse in the worst way...but , we owned one once a long time ago and learned we really are not horse people. One of her favorite things to do at Chuckie Cheese.

Mady is old enough now to come with her sister, Ava to Chuckie Cheese.

Let's just say Ava made me laugh very hard on this...she was not to happy about it but she was sure fun to watch.

Paul has been celebrating with his daughter, Mya and grandaughter, Ava for the last few yrs...Good thing he likes Chuckie Cheese :) We had a party on Saturday ( pics to follow) with the rest of the family.

It does not take much to entertain my kiddos...snow fun

Whether building snowmen or sledding they have fun together. We have been so glad that our snow has hung around and they managed to find some over by our friends the Livermores this afternoon. Joseph took them and they had a blast. We live on a totally flat 2 acres so we are thankful for Mrs. Cheryl or the Livermores to allow them to use their hills for sledding.

We love our brother Andrew

Make a video - it's fun, easy and free!

I love the second half where they are trying to put a shirt on Andrew. They start thinking ," Maybe if I jump off the bed onto his back I can get it on him. " They were so funny but determined.

They are their brother Andrew's keeper

Jesse and Judah helped get Andrew ready tonite. They enjoy helping to take care of their brother...and as I have shared before he is not always that easy to do. I am amazed at how much they really care to help him.

My 2 yr old boys taking care of their 8 yr old brother- no big deal for them.

They finally got out in the snow

I love watching my children discover something for the very first time...For Judah, Jesse and Sari it was snow. It started to snow Christmas Eve and then again the day after Christmas...but today was really the first time they went sledding...they had a blast. Even Gracie and Andrew got out. Jesse and Judah cried when we brought them in after being outside for an hour and a half .

It is the little things that makes us feel special

Sunday before Christmas our friends ( family) the Livermores- Dick and Helen and one of the Pastors at church - Pastor Lowry and his wife Robin made a run to Krumpe's . We had a wonderful visit and delicious donuts. Anyone is always welcome to drop by for a visit but, they probably do not realize how special they make us feel when they do... It feels like you are saying to all of us ," You are special enough to give my time to just be with you" It does not have to be anything big either just dropping in and being together . We thank the Lord for these opportunities to be together.

Why was Jesus born?

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.  Mark 10:45

The soft, little baby hands that were on the baby born of Mary were made so that nails might be driven thru them. Those precious baby feet created in the womb of Mary would one day walk up the dusty hill to be nailed to the cross...his dear little head would have a crown of thorns placed upon it and his tender little body would be pierced by a spear....Jesus was born to die.  Even though Jesus was put to death by evil men with evil intentions...the greatest victory over evil was born on Christmas day.
