This was Andrew in recovery in Feb. after his endoscope study. He has been on 4 regiments of medicines and he still is vomiting. Not as much as before and he is still a much happier little guy but this throwing up stuff is getting old. We have seen on most days a decrease but often he still does it 6 to 10 times a day.
So we had a follow up visit with the GI and he is off of every medicine for 2 weeks...We are doing a repeat stool sample then and we are waiting for a specialist that is contacting us to do the upper GI and we may repeat the endoscope study. He thinks he is probably over the H. Pyloria and has some continuing reflux issues. We need to do the upper GI to be able to tell exactly and Andrew may even need some surgery to help with this. They will allow me to be in the room with him during the upper GI ...which I am glad for.
The great news is that he has gained 2 lbs in 2 months...He had lost a pound last Fall and so as the doctor said, " Great job with that...especially since he still has been vomiting." Andrew also continues to be a happier guy and walks all over the place now :)
