What does Andrew understand at this point of what is happening to him?

What is his response to being uncaged?
He seems to have a big smile!

I don't think he understands that he is going anywhere. He is very positive with us but as far as knowing about life outside of what he is currently experiencing right now.. he just does not. He is so pathetically neglected... It hurts right now for me to think of what he endured to get to this point. He is on anti seizure medicine... we found out this when I picked him up... there is no mention of it in his medical ... the director was not my favorite person...she also gave us medicine to calm him...ugh. Joseph almos went balistic when she brought out the box... he remembered it from his own experience... I have lots to share but now I am just bathing in the joy we feel when we see how happy he is just being giving attention. He laughs, and belly laughs and loves all of the attention... and you read how much weight he has already gained... and we don't give him any meds. to calm him... I do have to give the anti seizure med until we see our peds. neurologist at Hopkins... because the orphanage doctor/director said he does not need it anymore but needs to be weaned off of it...

I am so glad that this young man will remain with your loving family for the rest of his life. Have a safe trip home and a wonderful Christmas.

Andrew is such a cutie. I love seeing the two brothers bonding. Gracie is a beauty. Her coloring and features are so similiar to our daughter's. I am impressed with how alert she is. You can tell she is just taking it all in.

I would love the brochure Jeane. I may give you a call before we leave to get a better idea of what to expect. :) IF you aren't too busy... LOL

I was very happy to hear you are on your way home. Glad you don't live here as we are in a blizzard. :)
