This is so easy to make. I usually bought a box called sure jell- found in the baking section or house goods area where canning supplies are. Follow the directions on the box ... This was how we made it last year. This year when I went to Walmart to buy them the only choice I had was a box from Ball. I bought the 2 pkg. in 1 box... the recipe is easier than the one we did with sure jell last year. The Ball recipe says to smash 4 cups of strawberries, then mix 1 and 1/2 cups sugar with the Ball packet- add this to the strawberries and stir for 3 minutes.. pour into jars and let set for 30 minutes. Put lids on and place in freezer. Last year we had to mix the sure jell with water and heat to boil on the stove ... so I recommend the Ball method now... so easy and so tasty- especially in the winter on fresh rolls or biscuits. We also put some in smaller jars for gifts with a loaf of homemade bread. I already have requests from some of my older daughters :)
