Mya post op is doing well

Her surgery was delayed an hour and a half...but now she is done and we are back in her room. Her fixator looks good and all the bones are now fine. Her new bone growth in the femur is excellent. Her fixator is now on the lower part almost to her foot and the broken bone is stabilized... we are waiting to see how she does pain wise and all to see if we can leave. With another big snow coming Dr. Standard thinks we will do fine at home.... so hoping and praying we can leave in a few hours. It had already started to snow at home and we have to mountains to go over so we will see.....

Praise the Lord! Safe travels home, it is pretty bad here too with the snow blowing.

I'm sure you must be breathing a sigh of relief today. Hope you make it (made it?) home before the next big snow. Carolyn
