I can't believe we are leaving for Ghana

This picture of the star was when we first announced our adoption journey into Ghana... and on Saturday Paul and I are leaving. It is a very surreal feeling and one that we are so excited about. The Lord has provided each step of the way and as exciting as it is to be visiting children who need help and being able to share a little bit of joy and hope with them... it is even more fulfilling to be used by the Lord doing His will and purpose thru our lives.
Our bedroom has looked like this for a week ...our closet was worse as things were collected for the kids.... Thank you to all who have shared things, money and prayers with us. Your words of encouragement have meant alot to us.
We ask for your prayers as we again leave ....for us to have heath, protection and wisdom. For our children at home to have all of these as well. Would you pray also that we will be given many opportunities to share about our family but more importantly about our faith.
I hope to be able to blog but not sure about the "village" we will be in - which is a 3 hr drive from Accra ( the capitol) . So stay tuned to news about our journey to Ghana and our children :)
