All Because Two People Fell in Love...Happy 34th

I don't talk enough about my other half- Paul. Our 34th anniversary is Dec. 19 and we dated over 5 yrs before that as childhood sweethearts. In my profile I share how we met but as I reflect on our almost 40 yrs together as a couple I am amazed at all we have been blessed with thru the years.

We celebrated all day today since on Sunday we are hosting our ABF ( adult Sunday School class) for our Christmas party. We went out to breakfast... Did our Sam's Club shopping together- Joseph met us and took the groceries home so we could catch the 12:45 showing of the movie Unstoppable . It was a good movie with popcorn and coke as our snack lunch :) Then we had early reservations at a diff. restaurant for us- The Fireside. It was great to be with Paul all day and I thank the Lord for giving me Paul.....It has been an adventure and a journey that I have loved ... and we have few regrets because we have lived a full life already- filled with the Lord's presence every day. We often get asked about our family and our life purpose... not many get to realize the very purpose and life song as we have. Our life is filled to the brim with the joy of our salvation first and then the opportunity to watch the Lord in the lives of our children. May our journey and walk with the Lord continue for many years Paul.
Just think ," All because 2 people fell in love" there are 27 children born into our family thru birth and adoption and there are 7 "grand" children so far. Most of them are serving the Lord and most of them have made decisions to give their lives to Him. His love given to us has changed all of our lives with our decision to follow Christ. After that decision in my own life at the age of 12 the decision to marry Paul has been the most significant and life changing one for me.....
How many men would love 27 children and just look at him with Emma ( one of our new puppies)... It is amazing how many things the 2 of us enjoy together... Animals is one of them and we are avid dog people. He and I share lots of loves...besides the Lord, and dogs, we love the mountains and the beach..We both love to read. We both are home bodies and are happiest at home surrounded by all our children... Our life is busy and chaotic and we always say when someone wants to come over teasingly ," You have to like noise and lots of activity" because there is certainly alot of that here but we love it and feel blessed to have this sort of chaos because it is a happy sound and activity.
I love you to the moon and back as we tell our children and I can only imagine the next 34....
