We celebrated her first birthday - Happy 15th birthday Grace

Love this girl and love seeing her smiles

Crab legs and diff. kinds of shrimp, and chicken nuggets for the little ones.

Grace and Keith have the same birthday-April 30.  So we had a double celebration Saturday nite for both of them. Our theme was a seafood feast / luau . As you can tell they enjoyed it. She has never celebrated her day of birth. So it was special watching her know it was all about her. Life is very precious watching so many firsts that the older adopted children experience when they come home. She has been home with Levi now 3 months. Both are doing very well and fit right into the crazy life of our family.

Easter Week Fun

We did school the week before Easter because we took our Spring break the week I came home from Ghana. I wanted to do some different things for school. One of the favorite ideas was to divide everyone into teams. Each team was to prepare our dinner for one nite that week. It was extremely popular activity . They planned the meal and each one included a dessert....Funny we don't eat dessert every nite but we did last week. we all loved it so much we are going to do this one week out of the month from now on. Here is a pizza cookie the team of Ava, Lily, Isaac and Tia made.

Of course egg coloring is always a hit with the kids too.

We dye hard boiled eggs and lots of raw eggs...the trick is to keep them apart : )
