You want a good laugh...or a funny thought ?

Just imagine getting all these people to be still for 5 minutes while we did a youtube video for Umjicare....This was about the 40th shot- no kidding... and honestly it took a bribe of a bag of candy and lots of patience. Paul and I were just as disruptive as the kids. This only has 14 of our 27 kids- looks like alot but you can imagine if everyone was here..but we finally did it :)

Girl's Nite Out at Mary Kate's

We had a girl's nite out at Mary Kate's tonite. Snacks, a movie and doing pedicures and manicures were all part of tonite....Thank you MK for a fun nite ( Keith came over to our house with the guys :) We have done so many surgeries with the kids and we keep those rectangular pails they give you that we have enough just about for all of us to have our own feet soaking pail.

Do you know how many kids are hiding under our snow in the front yard ?

Ok, we have had almost a foot of snow this week and it has been hard to just do school . At least the academic part when this snow is out there beckoning us to play :) So we have done some school ( reading and math ) and then we have been learning all about snow :) :) Actually we have researched about snow, sleet and rain. The kids have been so creative and we now have a huge snow village in our front yard ( an acre of land ). The kids began building them on Wed. and are still creating. Some of them are even linked by tunnels.... So come on over for a snow ball fight :)

I just love these pictures and the other members of our family....

I know I have shared how much we love our 4 legged members of our family but honesty who could not love these dogs. They act just like 4 more of our kids. They are so much a part of the family and give and give and give to all of us. The 2 new puppies, Sadie and Emma have been wonderful. We have not had any issues with the kids wanting to take care of them, walk them even with the team of 2 kids whose responsibility it is to get up the earliest to walk and feed the pups in the am.. This chore changes weekly and the teams of 2 never have an issue getting up and doing it. I think the kids just love these dogs and get so much love back they would not think of not taking care of them.

Oh the weather outside is frightful but the kids are so delighted :)

With snow falling in a one two punch - all day and all nite there has been lots of it to play with. We built a fire early in the day, school was done quickly so they could get outside. I made cinnamon rolls and we watched a movie....We might even watch a second movie and have a campout in the sunroom tonite with the window blinds open and the back lites on so we can watch it snow :)

Ava was here the other day and went over to MK and was kissing her... then she kept doing it long enough for me to get a series of kisses...She sure loves her mommy. Ava is the spitting image of MK in all ways- beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.

A boy and His Baby :)

Andrew loves to sleep with this baby doll right now. He is funny that way. He will choose a certain object and it will be his favorite for awhile. Something that brings him comfort or soothes him when he is frustrated. He also likes things a certain way....like his bed- a pack n play. Maybe because the "crib" in the hotel was a pack n play but he sleeps best on this... but not anyway like "normal". You see what he does with the mattress... He folds it up and usually sleeps on the bottom- on top of the bars underneath. Which to the rest of us would be very uncomfortable. Even when we have taped it in a way we think he can't get it loose .... He does and prefers actually gets frustrated if we do change it. He loves anything that is leather or like leather... He loves to suck on them . He also has preferences of the people he wants to play with or take care of him. Since Cate was gone for 10 days...Leah has done wonderful with him. She actually has gotten him to move forward in some areas he was not doing for Cate. We never know or can predict with him what he will like or whom he will allow. He has gotten easier though and anyone can help feed him now since he started eating from a spoon. If there was one thing we could change about him right not it would his vomiting or spitting up... None of the medicine has worked or the behavior mod. techniques we have tried... He goes next week to the GI specialist in Baltimore and I am hoping we can find out that it is something in his GI or not....Something that we know so we can focus more on what is the issue. Please pray for Andrew .

Best Find at the Consignment Sale

This Little Tykes "game chair" was the favorite thing I bought at the consignment sale in NC. I bought it for Andrew since it is all hard plastic, rocks and easy to move around. It folds up and can easily be carried. All the little ones love it. Gracie will be found in it the most... I have to ask her to get out of it and share it :) I was also able to get some clothes for our new little ones, a high chair that can recline- this was the main thing I wanted so we can feed Andrew in it instead of the car seat... but while I was gone the 2 days Leah decided he would eat sitting on a stool or chair....and now I don't need it for him... but Mady loves using it. That is one great thing about buying baby items... I am a NaNa too and everything I have bought I can use with my grand babies.....and my daughters don't have to transport lots of stuff when they come to visit.
