Mady and her daddy and a little bit of Ava

We enjoy our pools all summer long...It is a joy to watch the newest "grand" baby , Mady learn to love the pool - I think it is an important skill to teach your children- to be able to swim. We have seen all of our kids love to swim and to be comfortable in the water.

I can't wait until ..

 Stephen is reaching out to us right beside us, or is a dancing fool to our music, or Annabel is on my lap, or again in my arms ( Annabel is the one with the pink purse), or Stella is going to our home school, or she is eating at our dinner table :)

Now our wait is only 9 days until we leave for Ghana. It is very surreal to finally have what you have desired for so long....

We also get to travel with another family who is bringing home their boys and we get to meet up with a good adoption friend who is traveling tomorrow for 2 weeks for her agency...God is amazing how he put the timing together.

Guess What ?

We have travel dates :) :) :) I will share the details tonite but I can't believe it has finally happened. Praise God !

He's back...

Our "pet" frog, Malachi is back. If you remember last year I shared how he comes out every summer and lives around our front steps. We have a toad house for him and often he is in that during the hot days but at nite you can see him come out. He is very friendly and we all love having him around .

Before we left for the beach Andrew lost his top front tooth...Isn't he cute ?

Rachel created our mermaids- Mya, Ava and Tia. They showed up on our last day :)

It has been quite a week here at the beach....

We have had so much fun this week and we can not remember ever a week of vacation where every day at the beach was sunny :)
