Good to the very last lick and we squeezed lots of memories into this week.

The Hambricks left yesterday, and so did Jonas. He came home for a week. We had lots of memories made and we sure did squeeze every last bit of summer out of this week...We had food, fun and lots of fellowship but now our summer is officially over...well sort of. We are going to the beach in 2 weeks . We started our official school today...and so far it is going well...Of course we are eating our traditional Stone Soup tonite too.

Not only fort making but fairy houses were made and even visited by "real" fairies at nite.

These were my girls who made the fairy house in the Peace Garden. They left some seeds and in the am when they checked the fairies had eaten the seeds :) I love the make believe play of children. Imaginations run wild here and letting them create is so important.

Tonite we had all 12 of our grand babies over and we had a grand time of it.

Our electric cars have been a huge hit this week.

It has been a great week...and lots of memories have been shared. Very glad that Laura Jeane made it over tonite to visit. We don't see her or the boys to often but when we do we love it. Sad that Molly could not make it and a few of the kids had to work or I would have had all of children together at one time....that has never happened. I had all my grand children together and that was a blessing. This is 12 grand babies with only 3 of my kids so far. Can you imagine how many we might end up with ?

 We are enjoying the weather and prolonging our summer lots this week with Jenn and Jeremiah up. They will be heading to Haiti on Sept. 17. So we are enjoying our special time with them.

Who needs toys when you have towels and blankets?

Building forts has gotten to be the thing around here lately. The girls built and slept in this fort Saturday nite.

They even build forts on the deck.

Funny how long and how much fun the kids get out of building these forts . They will play for hours in them. So who needs toys ?
