Two New Happenings Here

Swim lessons for Jesse and Judah.

They love swimming and we have been teaching them how to without any floats or their life jackets.

They are doing great and they are not even 3 yrs old yet.

Paul and the kids put in a tether ball this month...It is right by the big pool so after a very heated game you can jump into the pool. Although this week has been extreme heat here. The water temperature of our pools has been 94 and 96 degrees- Not very refreshing and swimming has been the only outside activity we have done all week.

Getting to know her...

The kids had rubber gloves from the hospital that got blown up. They then put them under their shirts.

First bath and everyone watched....

Do you think Keith is the new daddy :) He feel asleep on the couch. They are doing well. Today MK and Keith traded in their 7 passenger van for a 12 passenger van :)

Summer these days....

Abraham talking with his girlfriend, DeeAnna- all smiles. They have the sweetest relationship. They met at church and have been together 6 yrs in August.

Big and lots of games of Monopoly this summer.

Josiah creating legos

Nap and reading time. We have quiet time from 1 to 3 every day. Older kids can read quietly ( they are always together just like this picture).

Milo learning about Andrew and helping to feed him.

I love the hearts of my kids even my grand babies who want to help take care of Andrew.

Of course music is a huge part of our days...often in the evening after dinner...and the kids love to dance. We do school a few days of the week ( it changes because of company or how full our life always is). We are waiting any day for Mary Kate to have her baby- another little girl named Calea Joy. They have 6 kids under the age of 7 :) Do you think she is taking after her momma ?

It has been very hot here...water fun in the heat

We had a boys campout in one of our family rooms and the girls camped out in the girl's dorm room Friday nite...It was too hot outside.

Saturday we were outside int the pool or playing with the new water toys I bought on sale. I go around to all the stores this time of year and later and see what they have on sale and add to our pool fun.

Apparently it was too hot even for the Barbies :)

This was a cool toy I got . It was water limbo. The kids loved it.

Even Andrew got in the pool. We float him like this so he won't continuously drink the water...Still he would throw his thumb down in the pool and put it back in the mouth.

Another favorite...a step on rocket blaster. I went back and got another one of these they were so popular.

A jump rope that sprays water when hooked up to a hose....another favorite. Then we would just throw the jump rope in the pool to fill the pool. The pool water was not very refreshing with a temp. of 90 but we had fun enjoying the water anyway.
