Reading with my littles and "grand" littles is something I love doing
This morning I enjoyed reading books with my grandaughters, Ava and Mady and some of the younger kiddos. It is funny I start out reading aloud to one and then there is a group. Sometimes I even have some of my older ones hanging around to hear the story :)

I got the works today :)
While sitting by the pool watching the kids play, Lila , Selah and eventually Ava and Anna came over and gave me a massage and hair do. By the time Cate got the camera ( I told her not to take any pics showing me- because I was just too darn pretty :) Selah had jumped into the pool. They love doing hair and I love having someone scratch and comb it... They would get bowls of water and pour it on my head or feet or arms...Lila and Selah really got into doing the hair thing though. Originally I was not going to get my head wet today during our pool time but the bonding that took place made it all worth it.
Jonas- the engineer
Jonas spent hours building and knocking down dominoes....He really does think like an engineer. It will be interesting to see what he does when he grows up. I won't be surprised with an architect or engineer career .

Aren't they the cutest , sweetest little guys ever ?
This morning Joseph woke up early and was taking the Eli and Ezra out to get donuts ( like he does every time ). I gave the boys and Ella these bags that they colored on and can put their special stuff in...and they have been so funny about them...way more than even Ella. They carry them everywhere they go. Joseph said when he got to the donut shop they sat on the floor and layed out all of their special stuff in them while waiting :) They are like "man purses". It has been so funny to watch them. I never would have thought they would have been that popular with the boys....Ohhh I miss them already.........

Joseph finally made it here
Joseph is the best uncle....He really loves all of his nieces and nephews. He made it down to NC today just after 12 and it was good to see him. He will be taking me and Mya home tomorrow in the afternoon. I am going with Jenn to the pediatricians and then we will leave :( I sure wish they lived closer.....
We have done crafts every day and Leah and Naty are super helpers and so creative with the art material I brought down. Here they were making lizards out of beads and fairy ribbons....
So you notice who is in alot of my pics with Zoe ? Mya will be a super momma one day. She loves helping with Zoe.Saturday, August 13, 2011
Lots of holding baby Zoe and enjoying being together
There are 10 of us at Jenn's if you count Zoe...and we are not doing a whole lot just hanging together but I am enjoying it. Cooking for 9 is so different :) I have to 3 times it for what I am making now to feed my family at home. We actually eat on real plates here too :) Zoe is such a good little baby...she is nursing very well and is pretty content. Which is a good thing for parents of 4 kids and the energy that the other 3 have...So far it has been a good transition for the Hambrick family and I have been blessed to be a part of it.

They made it home this afternoon....
These were taken as we were eating dinner tonite. She wiggled her feet out and would stretch her feet. She is doing really well. She loves to nurse and is easy to calm. Jenn and Jeremiah are doing well too. All 3 of the kids love her and have been very patient so far :) It is amazing the gift of life.
