Well, we actually have 2 pools... one of them is 24 ft. round and the other one is 28 ft.. We just installed the 28 ft. pool this summer... and my husband has been building a deck ... actually the deck has 2,000 sq. ft. and for the 20 some of us who are on it all day it has been wonderful... We sit outside until late at nite or swim at nite too. We are definitely "pool" people. He is almost done with it ( working on the steps and then we are staining all of it as well as the new play area he also built earlier this spring with the kids :)
We thought lots about just replacing the older smaller pool and when we called the pool company and asked if we could install a second one... there reaction was funny... but they know how many kids we have.... Having the 2 pools works well. The one pool can be for the loungers and the other can be for the more active swimmers.... The kids also play games using both pools...like volleyball or they have made some up some pretty creative games.I do not even know how we did it in the smaller pool now that we have both.
Honestly I look for bathing suits on sale all the time because that is the clothing you find us wearing most of the summer....
The tall pole in the last picture is for our flags... one from each country represented by our family and adoptions.... USA, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Ghana will hang there.

I LOVE that you have two pools and that huge deck is so incredibly amazing. I also love the fact that you call the 24' pool the small pool. LOL We only have a 16' that's why I was asking we're thinking of upgrading in a couple of years and have been going back and forth on size. While our family is *much* smaller than yours I was thinking 24' might be big enough...... I would be out there 24/7 too!
The grill is pretty sweet looking I bet you can cook up quite a feast on that.

Old Navy had a great sale on swim suits this last weekend...you might see if they have any left! Girls swim suits $5!
Teri..this is actually our 3d grill this summer. We bought one from Walmart and then when it broke after a week we bought a diff. one from Lowes... this is from Sam's and is the most expensive but seems to be working well.It has 2 tanks for propane and we can grill lots of food :)
