Fall fun... Is how we do it.

There always is lots of discussion about Halloween when this time of year comes around. We have never celebrated Halloween as halloween... our celebrations have always centered on the Lord and the beauty of the season and who made this wonderful time of year...
So we do things that are found in the season of Fall usually...pumpkins , apples and corn. We love a "fire camp" and so we usually make one . Today we went to church and came home to the campfire... and I had made one of our favorite soups...Cheddar chowder potato soup. We roasted the hotdogs and Paul had made veggie trays while we were at church . ( It was his turn to stay home with Andrew ). Then the kids roasted marshmellows and are now watching a football game. We are making carmel apples and then go to eat dinner at McDonalds and go to see the movie What If.
Some years we have moved the furniture to the sides and we have done square dancing...played Bingo with the candy corn and had a treasure hunt for the loot of candy :) We also do many Fall crafts during our school....
No matter... we are having fun as a family together and celebrating the Lord's creation .
