These girls are so crafty :)

Leah can do anything craft or art wise. She knits and crochets lots of things. She sews and can do any kind of craft. She does origami, draws, paints and she has a real eye for color and design . She can make a career of her talent ... She brought down this blue outfit for the puppies. She made it in about 30 minutes and vola... she dressed Sadie . Now Sadie is not to happy about her new scarf, hat and mittens :)
This is the older girl's closets in their room. They have a " fiber optic" Christmas tree from Grandad- my parents had the last few yrs of their life as their tree... so it is special to the girls. They made colorful snowflakes for the doors and decorated... and as one shared, " There are even real presents under the tree."

Leah should think about making a scarf for the Special Olympics winter games scarf project. She has way more talent than this project requires, but she might like doing it and I'm sure one of the participants would love being the recipient of one of her creations. You can learn about the project here: http://www.scarvesforspecialolympics.org/questions
You can learn about the history of the project here:

Wow she was so quick knitting them and they look great too!

I bet all your kids would love https://www.ravelry.com

It's a pattern directory of knitting and crochet patterns and most of them are free too! It reviews patterns from most books, magazines and websites and provides links to them. I have been busy making amigurami (tiny crocheted) toys for all my friends.
