Daddy and his little girls

Paul has sure enjoyed our little one, Annabel ( Lila Joy) . Before today she was not feeling comfortable to swim in the pool to much ...but Daddy got her to even jump to him. She is a little firecracker but she can melt your heart too. She is such a clown and bosey...she will try to keep all the others in line at the dinner table or anywhere else she wants to. She tries her best to make us all laugh but at the same time she loves to cuddle and be held. It has been very different having a 2 yr old around....lots of energy but oh so sweet. Stella ( Selah Elizabeth) has been warming up to Daddy as well. She is more quiet but we are seeing lots of her spirit and joy come thru her personality. She is a fish...and would swim all day long. She loves to be chased by Daddy in the pool. Sometimes it is hard to believe that we have been blessed once again with these precious ones....

I see you posted both names of the girls. Just curious~ which names are y'all calling them? :)

We now call them our given names- Lila, Selah and Isaiah. When we had court in Nov. for them the Ghana courts only allowed you to change the last name on the documents then. Even their passports had those names and their surname which is odd but the court docs had Briggs. All along we were going to change them and we asked them last week about their names. When we would say Annabel she would shake her head no and when we said Lila Joy she shook it yes. The same with Stephen- who is now Isaiah Stephen and Stella who is now Selah Elizabeth- the most important name change was their last name to Briggs :) Every time we have done an adoption our children all want new names.

I love the new names you picked out~ Isaiah is one of my all time favorites, though I never had to worry about boy names. ha Must be hard to come up with so many pretty names~ I'd be running out by now. :) Our pastor's little boys would fit right in with yours. They have Josiah, Isaac and Amaus (Greek ? spelling for Emmaus). They are now in the (LONG) process of adopting from Peru. I directed her to your blog. I think you'd enjoy hers. It's listed in my blog list "Homemaker's Hallejuahs." God bless.
