These are the children we have been "collecting"

I have a feeling if any of you had the chance to meet our wonderful children you would wish for them to be in your FAMILY too. Of course my title is being sarcastic... look below and you will understand my posts for today.

I'm sorry you have received some hurtful words regarding your family. It saddens me that I have written these same words several times to various people in recent weeks. In fact, I was exchanging emails with another "beat up" mama earlier this afternoon. It seems this is a time of great judgement toward adopting families (not just larger families) as the nastiness has been hitting many of those who encourage me and others in our own journeys via their blogs. I may never adopt as many children as you have, but as a fellow adoptive parent, I have nothing but respect and admiration for what you and your husband have done to bring this many children home...it never would have crossed my mind to consider what you do "hoarding". It only crosses my mind that you probably have a much better handle on how to parent hurting children and how to manage a larger family then I do....so it seems in my family's best interest to pick up any tidbits of information on these topics you share on your blog. You have the family He designed for you and I'm pretty sure the rest of us have no room to judge. God bless, Jennifer

What a precious family, each important, individual one of them.
God had His hand on them before they were born. He knit each and everyone of them with His loving hand, and placed them carefully into this world... He patiently waiting and guided them, wept with them, encouraged you, brought them to heart and mind, cared for them behind the scenes, and then finally brought you all together in a tapestry of love.
So many things we don't understand, so many gifts given.... and we KNOW, WE KNOW that it is ALL from Him. THEY ARE ALL FROM HIM!
Seriously, don't let somebody who has so many personal hurts, take away one stitch, what God has knit together. :)

What a beautiful "collection." You have been such an encouragement to me. I pray that some day God will provide the opportunity for me to meet you and your wonderful family.
