Happy Day to celebrate we love you.....

Paul and I were gone till the afternoon with Luke and Mya to Johns Hopkins so we celebrated at dinner.... Only there was one little detail we did not plan on. It was a very windy day here with gust over 50 mph.. We lost our electricity at 2:45 and it was not restored until 7. So our homemade dinner plans of heart shaped meatloaf did not happen... Instead Paul picked up Chinese for us ( not a bad change of plans in my opinion :) We lit a bunch of candles ( kids loved that part). As soon as MK and Keith came our lites went on....so we finished the celebration with electricity. After we ate we played Bingo but the prizes were all coupons for things like ( candy bar of choice, ice cream at McDonalds, give up a chore for the day, a 5 dollar spend at Walmart, a bubble bath in dad and mom's bath tub ( believe it or not the boys love doing this), go to Dad's work , a McDonald's frappe and the best one was go out to dinner with mom and dad. It was a diff. way to award prizes... they were put in the plastic hearts and when you won you picked one heart. We also bought 2 new Kinect games for our Xbox 360 system. It was so funny to watch everyone playing- funniest one was Mary Kate vs Paul doing the track and field. We laughed for along time....but the most special part was when Paul shared a love letter he wrote to each one of his "girls" including me, MK , Ava and Mady and he gave each one of them a rose. They each have them in seperate vases in their rooms. He felt Valentines Day is more for girls to be loved on by the guys and he wanted to teach the boys in the family thru his actions... I love that he does this with both the girls and the boys. I had made cinnamon bread for their breakfast and we had candy and cake for dessert....
