Welcome home Abby and Milo - Together again

Sisters meeting for the first time

Ava is beyond happy with having them home

This little guy is such a flirt...melts everyones heart easily...I mean who can deny this smile.

Meeting Uncle Joe Joe- they all love him

We are home and things are going well....amazingly so . I had a wonderful and special time sharing these moments with Keith and Mary Kate. Keith is an awesome son in law and I'd do it all again with my  traveling buddy , Keith. Getting to travel to a country I love , the homeland to some of my children and being a part of bringing my grand babies home was a gift . Seeing them grow up so very close to us is also a wonderful blessing- having the cousins be together is important but there is more to this story that I am bursting to share.....

While in Ghana I had the opportunity to meet Abby's and Milo's birth mom. She was a very humble and precious lady and we had a bond of love shared easily within our time together. We also met the older brother and sister of Abby and Milo. We had just heard about them a week ago and there is so much more than I can't share just yet but , when we heard that there were 2 older siblings we prayed and asked the Lord His will for us to step into another adoption. We asked Kofi if I could meet the 2 older siblings and my oh my it was a very confirming time with them. So we have decided to adopt this older brother who is 8 and his sister who is 14...but the real confirmation came when they came to our hotel room . As soon as they walked in the door they were squealing and hugging on each other. They had been apart for months. You could tell they were happy to be together once again...but when I saw the older brother hugging Milo and K had tears in his eyes it was a done deal for me. They need to be close and a part of each others lives...So this is my announcement that we are adopting once again....Woo Hoo and praise God for the opportunity to be blessed again by 2 more children and to see the joy on the faces when the children are together again forever.

Congratulations to all!! What a delight. Pictures and stories to cherish indeed.

Will your timeline be *hopefully* sped up at all because of the sibling/family connection?

Priscilla- No that connection does not help to expedite. A medical condition does sometimes but not a relational one . We have been fortunate to have had fairly quick time frames though...thanks to our agency and in country coordinator's efforts.

Wow! So excited for you! But really, so excited for this older brother and sister, so that they can be reunited with their younger siblings.

Amazing.
